Q What should I do if my child is suspected to suffer from myopia?
Since myopia is irreversible and can induce various eye diseases (such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, etc.), parents should address the problem as early as possible and follow the advice of an optometrist to adopt any myopia control plan once your child is suspected to suffer from myopia.
Q How often should my child have a detailed eye exam?
We suggest that parents should arrange a detailed eye examination for your children once a year to continuously follow up on their changes in prescription and vision development.
